Freestyle formed a decade ago, originally three friends who occasionally played instrumental music together. When a Denver Habitat for Humanity affiliate asked them to provide music for a benefit, the friends augmented their sound with drums and guitar. After many successful performances, Freestyle grew into the close-knit band of six it is today.
Freestyle plays a lively variety of blues, jazz, rock, country, and original songs featuring drums, bass, guitar, keys, harmonica and rich vocal harmonies. Members share the love of music and passion for performing to entertain their audiences. They each draw from their favorite influences to bring you the best performances and choices of songs from the ‘50s to current hits. From smooth, silky ballads to gritty soulful blues, Freestyle will take you on a memorable journey of popular hits you love, to original works that will make you smile and get up and dance. They still provide music for Habitat fundraisers each year and now enjoy performing for private and public events across Colorado.
